Some of the key teaching points:
- Catch, pivot, and get your eyes to the rim as quickly as possible
- Keep the ball above the contact
- Absorb any contact and finish with two hands
- For the defense, contest without fouling
Block 1v1 Finishing
- Players stand on the blocks, facing the Dr. Dish
- The player who receives the pass is on offense and the other player becomes the defender
- Catch, turn, and finish with no dribble while the defender contests the finish
