During individual basketball training workouts, I like to add some variation into basic drills as part of player’s warmups. Incorporating a little ball handling allows us to work on multiple skills while maximizing our time. Instead of the normal 5 spot shooting at the short corners, wings, and nail, we’ll take three shots at each spot with some sort of change-of-hand dribbling move on each pass out.
