Basketball Drills: Pop Corner Series with Joe Abunassar

IMPACT Basketball founder and top NBA trainer Joe Abunassar introduces a great drill for both three-point and midrange corner jump shot reps.

 

Pop Corner Series

  1. Shooter starts on the block and pops to corner
  2. First shot is a three-pointer
  3. Repeat step one
  4. Second shot is a one-dribble midrange pull up

"Usually, you want to take your time and make sure your footwork form is good," explains Abunassar. "As you get going in [this] drill, we want speed. We want that ball going as soon as you can get rid of it out of your hands."
