Dr. Dish Basketball was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of the second annual Professional Basketball Combine. This pre-draft showcase gave players the opportunity to compete, play and speak with NBA scouts. We were privileged to have the chance to work with all the players before and during the combine to work on skill development and help the players maximize their time on the court. For many players this was a once in a lifetime chance to make their dreams come true  and to take the next step in their careers.

The night before the combine started, we ran players through multiple shooting drills that focused on efficiency and creating open shots for themselves. We maximized our reps using the Dr. Dish All-Star shooting machine and made this training as game-like as possible! The players did an amazing job picking up the moves and implementing the tips throughout the entire session. It was amazing to see the IQ these players possess and how well rounded each player was offensively.

Check out the recap below!

After the Pro Basketball Combine was complete, numerous players including, LiAngelo Ball, Vic Sanders, Brandon Sampson Kendall Stephens, Kendrick Nunn and Jae'Sean Tate were invited to pre-draft workouts with NBA teams. After the NBA draft, multiple players were invited to play in the NBA Summer League in hopes to sign with an NBA squad and Dr Dish was pleased to see the success these players showed during the entirety of the summer league. One big congrats goes to JP Macura for inking a two-way contract with the New Orleans Hornets! JP is a Minnesota native and we've been fortunate enough to have him swing by the Dish Lab for training.

Once again we can't thank the PBC enough for having us and allowing us the opportunity to help these pro players achieve and reach their goals. We look forward to seeing the future success of these talented players moving forward and we can't wait to be apart of next years event!
