Hall of Fame Coach Rick Pitino Joins the Dr. Dish Family

Our team at Dr. Dish Basketball takes pride in the fact that our machines can be a resource for anyone connected to the game. From youth basketball to the NBA, players across the globe are using Dr. Dish machines to be better everyday. 

Over the last few years, some of the biggest names in college hoops have upgraded to Dr. Dish to enhance their skill development. 

Now, we're excited to welcome Hall of Fame Coach Rick Pitino to the Dr. Dish family!

Coach Pitino is one of the winningest coaches in the history of the game. He has been the head coach of several Division 1 teams, numerous NBA teams, and even the Puerto Rico National team. Highlights of his incredible resume are below. 

• Hired as Head Coach of Boston University, as the youngest D1 Head Coach (1978)
• Hired as Head Coach of Providence College (1985)
• Lead Providence to the  Final 4 (1987)
• Hired as Coach of the New York Knicks (1987)
• Returned to NCAA as Kentucky Head Coach (1989)
• Won NCAA National Championship (1996)
• Hired as Coach of the Boston Celtics (1997)
• Returned to NCAA as Louisville Head Coach (2001)
• Lead Louisville to the Final Four (2005)
• Inducted to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame (2013)
• Won NCAA National Championship (2013)
• First Coach in NCAA history to win 2 Championships at 2 schools
• Only Coach in NCAA history to lead 3 schools to the Final Four 
• One of 4 Coaches to lead schools to the Final Four in four separate decades
• Coached 7 Final Four Teams (1987, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2005, 2012, 2013)
• Made NCAA tournament with 20 teams 
• Coached 29 players who have played in the NBA
• Won 12 conference tournament championships 
• Compiled a .740 career winning percentage 
• Coached Puerto Rico National Team
