It's always great following our friends and partners at Pure Sweat Basketball train NBA and top colleges players in the off-season. If you don't know Pure Sweat and Drew Hanlen, the Founder of Pure Sweat Basketball and Pro Skills Trainer, by now you should get ready to hear his name for many more years to come!
This past summer, Drew and his team at Pure Sweat trained many of the top players in the NBA like Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Zach LaVine, Markelle Fultz, and many more!
The Pure Sweat video team headed up by Sam Limon was able to capture this shooting workout that SG/SF Semi Ojeleye went through using the Dr. Dish. Check it out below!
As you can see, Semi went through a combination of different ways to use the Dr. Dish All-Star from shooting off the catch and shooting off the dribble. The one main theme around all Pure Sweat's workouts is the GAME-LIKE nature of each drill. That's one of the main reasons why we are thrilled to be partnered with them and we have such great synergy.
Make sure to use these concepts in your shooting workouts whether you have a Dr. Dish and additional players/passers. One of the best ways to use Dr. Dish is have it pass to a coach/trainer/parent at a game location on the perimeter and mimic a common offensive action - much like Semi did.
We'd like to wish Semi Ojeleye the best of luck this season and beyond!
