Basketball Drills: 100 Point Drill with Coach Tony Miller

Written by Tony Miller | Sep 30, 2022 5:00:00 PM

In this Dr. Dish drill, Coach Tony Miller demonstrates a great jump shooting drill. Work on shooting and moving from spot to spot around the perimeter with a point system to keep track of your progress. As you make plans for the upcoming basketball season, consider adding this shooting game to your player development sessions. It’s called the 100 Point Game.

100 Point Game

  • Select the perimeter shooting locations based on your own offensive system.
  • The shooter will take 4 shots from each spot (3 3PAs and 1 one-dribble pull-up).
  • Each 3PM is worth 3 points while each 2PM is worth 2 points.
  • Put 3 minutes on the clock.
  • Continue moving to the next spot until 3:00 has expired.
  • The goal is to score a minimum of 100 points.
