With so many great basketball resources on the internet already, we decided to devise a list of our personal favorites.

These 12 basketball coaching resources can put you on the path to coaching greatness. The next steps are yours.

Teach Hoops

Our good friend Coach Steve Collins is the creator of this incredible site with tons of resources designed to reach your potential as a basketball coach. Coach Collins has a ton of credibility as a legendary high school at Madison Memorial (WI) with countless accolades including 3 State Championships and 14 consecutive Conference Championships. Alongside a blog with articles and videos, Coach Collins also hosts multiple basketball coaching podcasts and has a membership based community for coaches looking for personal mentorship and additional resources to take their coaching to the next level.

Coaching U

Coaching U has done a tremendous job of providing hands-down the best basketball coaching clinics in the world. Where else can you hear speakers like John Calipari, Doc Rivers, Billy Donovan, Brad Stevens, and Stan Van Gundy speak about their coaching philosphies? If you can't make a clinic, don't worry! You can purchase Coaching U Live videos and watch whichever speakers you'd like! Also, if you're on Twitter, @Coaching_U is a MUST follow as they pump out great basketball content on a daily basis. FastModel

FastModel specializes in play diagramming, but their blog offers just about anything you can think of within the game of basketball. The information on their site is must-see content for basketball coaches of all levels. It breaks down many higher-level tactics, like creating driving lanes and coordinating the defensive efforts of a team's bigs and smalls and much more. 

CoachTube

CoachTube provides a variety of basketball coaching courses from top coaching professionals like offensive actions, shooting, strategy, drills, and much more. While many of the courses require a fee, there are a handful of great resources that are provided for free. The library provided is very impressive and worth checking out for coaches of all levels and sports.

Pure Sweat Basketball

Drew Hanlen is a master at basketball training - just ask his multiple NBA clients. The Pure Sweat Training App is extremely comprehenisve and is sure to make any player immensely better. With the app, you can watch step-by-step videos of drills and implement them in your own player development program. Check out the app and see how great this resource is not only for players but for coaches too.

HoopsKing

HoopsKing is a tremendous website that sells numerous basketball coaching and training aids as well as training videos. However, they also offer many free resources within their blog and other free downloads such as coaching forms and dribbling videos. Make sure to check out all their different resources to become a better coach and player. 

Bball Breakdown

Coach Nick is the creator the widly popular Bball Breakdown YouTube channel which focuses on a wide range of basketball concepts. While many videos are on NBA video breakdowns, there's a ton of great on-court demonstrations on the channel with very helpful concepts for coaches. Coach Nick has worked with some great players and coaches to develop a fantastic library of basketball knowledge.

Coach's Clipboard

The Clipboard may look barebones, but it is jam-packed with coaching tips of all kinds. There are out-of-bounds plays, motion offenses, spread-delay offenses and practically any defensive scheme you can imagine. Commenters flock to this site, so there is plenty of coaching advice to be had here.

Breakthrough Basketball

Another fantastic outlet for basketball coaches to learn about many different drills and technical aspects of basketball. The site offers plays, shooting tips, and many other resources for developing players. Breakthough prides itself on helping coaches get the best out of young players and it definitely delivers.

Basketball HQ

This slick basketball site offers a year-long membership for $99. But there's also some really good content in the Free Section as well.  It boasts the world's largest collection of online training videos and allows mobile access to them. This is a site that coaches at all levels will find valuable and well worth the annual price.

Basketball for Coaches

Coach Mac is the brains behind this site for youth basketball coaches. He takes on a lot of great questions within the game including asking many basketball authority figures what part of the rim a player should look at when shooting. He also includes great content on building a great culture within your team. If you're a young coach starting out or even a seasoned vet, this is a great site to help you relate to your players.
