In Coach Tony Miller's 16th Dr. Dish Drill of the week, he demonstrates a great team drill to give players an opportunity to shoot from the 5 main spots on the perimeter! Check out the full breakdown below!

As the season approaches, our attention as coaches shifts to more team drills.

Making the “extra pass” to the open shooter is something we all emphasize. This drill reinforces that concept while giving players an opportunity to shoot from the 5 main spots on the perimeter (feel free to move those spots based on your offense).

Goal: 55-60 Shots in 5 Minutes

  • Player 1 receives a pass from the Dish and passes to Player 3 for the shot.
  • Player 2 then becomes the next passer and Player 1 the next shooter.
  • Players will shoot from each spot for one minute.
