Basketball Drills: Curl, Pop, Flare Progression with Lindsay Whalen

Curl, Pop, Flare Progression 

Read One: Curl

  • A player will set a screen in the corner
  • Off the screen the player will curl to the basket for a pass from the Dish and finish
  • The screener will cut to the elbow for a second pass from the Dish and shoot

Read Two: Pop

  • A player will set a screen in the corner
  • Off the screen the player will pop out for a pass from the Dish and shoot
  • The screener will roll to the lane for a second pass from the Dish and finish

Read Three: Flare

  • A player will set a screen in the corner
  • Off the screen the player will flare out to the wing for a pass from the Dish and shoot
  • The screener will then roll and flash to the lane for a pass from the Dish and finish
