ESPN's Debbie Antonelli Makes 2,400 FT's on Her Dr. Dish - Raises 75k For Special Olympics

This past weekend women’s college basketball analyst for ESPN and CBS, Debbie Antonelli organized an event titled “24 Hours of Nothing But Net” where she made 2,400 free throws in under 24 hours, raising $75,000 for Special Olympics South Carolina.

We got wind of this event more than a month ago when Debbie reached out to let us know she'd be shooting all 2,400 shots on her Dr. Dish Rebel and to see if we would contribute to the event. Not only were we excited to hear about this, we were excited to get to be a small part of it - providing an iC3 Shot trainer and sponsorship dollars to help the event. 

More than a year ago Debbie committed to make 100 free throws an hour, for 24 hours to raise money for South Carolina Special Olympics. 

24 hours later, Debbie shot 94% from the freethrow (2,400 of 2,553) and raised over $75,000. Her son, Frankie, the reason for it all - took the first and final free throw of the day. Hours of training and prep went in to pull this off and more than the money made Debbie put a smile on many faces. We think it's safe to say, Debbie made a splash.
