Boomerang passes have become popular in many modern offensive schemes. Teams will use a pass to shift the defense only to quickly pass right back to that same player for a quick attack (e.g., a shot, a pick and roll). Two common places on the floor for a boomerang are off a drive from the slot and from the corner.
