Basketball Drills: Cross, Between, Behind Handles with Kyle Travis

Hoop Performance trainer and founder of iCan Player Development, Kyle Travis,, is back with another great static ball handling drill to help get your defender off-balance and create space for a jump shot or drive.

 

Cross, Between, Behind Handles

  • A single cone is recommended but not required
  • Cross through and get the ball out in front of you
  • Drag the ball back to complete your rep
  • Repeat for 30 seconds, switching sides halfway through

"Keep that inside foot down," says Travis. "Keep it nice and anchored as we drag back."
