Basketball Shooting Drills: Footwork Workout with Jordan Lawley

In this shooting workout, our partner Jordan Lawley demonstrates 3 great footwork options in a catch and shoot situation.

1. Foot Replacement

2. Wide Base

3. Rhythm Step

In a game situation, any one of these 3 options may be the best to use. It's important to be able to execute all of them to be a great in game shooter.

Try this workout and see what footwork you do best!

Drill settings:

Pass Locations: Wing and Corner

Pass Tempo: 3-4

Pass Distance: 3-4

Goal: Can be shots taken/made/streak/time. We'd recommend making 25 shots on each footwork before moving to the next drill.
