Written by Nick Bartlett | Aug 18, 2020 2:16:41 PM

Head Coach Kyle Rechlicz  of UW-Milwaukee provides a great team dribble drive shooting drill utilizing the Dr. Dish CT machine called D-Squared based around the Dribble Drive.

The dribble drive action has become a key move to the game of basketball and this drill will help simulate game action & getting up a lot of reps!

Check out the full breakdown in the video below!

D Squared:

  • Two Lines
    • Player 1 at the wing
    • Player 2 at the top of the key
    • Dr. Dish pointed towards player 1 to start & set at 2 second tempo
  • First pass out to the wing (player 1)
  • Player 1 then dribble drives towards player 2 at the top of the key
  • Hand off action to player 2
  • Player 2: one dribble, pull-up
  • Player 2 backs up to the 3 point line catches a pass from the dish and shoots
  • Drill starts over with players switching lines

Stay tuned for many more basketball drills and team concepts coming from our friends from UW-Milwaukee!
