Why the White Mamba Trains with Dr. Dish

We are proud to welcome former NBA player and cultural icon Brian Scalabrine to the Dr. Dish Family. Brian's career led him to be nicknamed the White Mamba and a fan favorite for many reasons.

Brian Scalabrine

Brian had a successful college career. He was named to the All-Pac-10 first team and National Association of Basketball Coaches All-district 15 first team. He finished as USC's top scorer (17.8 ppg.) and field goal shooter (53.1%) and the second-best Pac-10 scorer.

Although statistically, Brian's NBA career may not have been as glorious, he became a fan favorite with the Celtics and Bulls. This is where he got his nickname the White Mamba.

Since then, he has spent time as a commentator and analyst in the NBA. He also has his own canned cocktail brand called Scal's Vodka Lemonade. More importantly, he is now a husband and father growing the game of basketball with his family.

Since getting the machine, he's been able to get in fun and competitive workouts with his family. He said, "My kids love it...If I had this as a youngster definitely would have been the 8th man."
