2 Dr. Dish Fam Members Named to Wooden's Top 20 List

The late season top 20 list for the John R. Wooden award for women's college basketball was recently announced. The Wooden award is given to the most outstanding player in all of NCAA basketball. Nearly 1,000 voters will select the winner in April for college basketball's most prestigious award.

Cameron Brink
The 6'4" junior Cameron Brink has dazzled this season in every aspect of the game. Starting with averaging 14.4 points per game in 25 games. The team has 22 wins to just 3 losses on the season so far, ranking #6 in the country. She also has posted a team leading 9.6 rebounds per game. Cameron has been a force inside and is 2nd in all of women's college basketball with 3.6 blocks per game. In late January Cameron put up a triple double with 16 point, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocks in a win over Oregon.
Cameron also recently achieved the most individual blocks in program history. We're excited to follow along Cameron's basketball career and the bright things ahead for her!
Zia Cooke
Zia Cooke has proven herself as a certified bucket this season. She is leading her team with 14.9 points per game. As well as leading the team in both 3 point and free throws made. Her team is ranked #1 in the country with a flawless 31 straight wins to ZERO losses.
Zia stands out with her creative handle combinations. Zia and her team look to repeat this year as champions. Her season high of 31 points has contributed to her breakout season.
