Around The Horn Shooting Drill - 35 Reps in 2 and Half Minutes

At Dr. Dish Basketball we always love when our customers share their machines in use! Recently, we received this great submission from one of our loyal customers. Check it out below!
The shooting drill here is simple in nature:
-The Dr. Dish is set on tempo 4 to give the player enough time to catch, take a dribble or two, and shoot before the next ball is passed out.
-The player programmed the machine to pass to the 5 common spots around the perimeter (corner, wing, top of the key, opposite wing, opposite corner)
-The player also programmed 7 reps at each spot.
-Last, the player programmed the "Drill Goal" for 35 total attempts so the machine stopped after the 35th rep.
In total, the player took 35 shots off the dribble in just 2:30 without having to chase any rebounds. This allows players lock in and build muscle memory faster than ever.
After the drill is complete, the player will be able to view their overall stats and stats from each individual spot to give them a full heat map. On our Dr. Dish Home, All-Star, All-Star+, and CT models, these stats also sync directly to our Dr. Dish Training Management System for players, parents, and coaches to view progress over time and set goals.
Players can also build and save drills like this to access directly on the machine in the future so they won't have to manually plug in the drill each time. And if a player isn't necessarily sure what drill they want to execute, they can choose from over 150+ drills and workouts from expert coaches and trainers in the Dr. Dish library that sync directly to the machine.
One of our favorite quotes is, "Repetition Creates the Master". With Dr. Dish shooting machines, players are able to maximize their reps all over the court to improve faster than ever! We look forward to seeing more and more Dr. Dish video submissions and continuing to build better shooters and complete players.
