5x WNBA All-Star Skylar Diggins-Smith shares a great drill for players to work on off the ball movement before going into your shot! Make sure to check out the full breakdown in the video below.
Flash to Space
Flash movements are great ways for players to create open space.
When a player notices their defender playing help side, watching the ball, or not paying attention they have an opportunity to flash to a spot for an open look.
Players will start at the corner and flash to the wing for a pass from the Dish machine and shoot.
Players can also work on shot fakes and/or jabs to simulate movement for when a defender closes out.Stay tuned for more drills and challenges from Skylar Diggins-Smith and in the meantime check out our basketball resources for more ways to level up your training!
