In this Dr. Dish Drill of the week,Coach Tony Miller breaks down a great team drill to work on offensive actions centered around screens. Check out the full breakdown below!
Like many programs, we spend a portion of our individual workouts breaking down parts of the actions within our offense. One of those actions is a “pass, chase, screen and space.”
Pass, Chase, Screen, Space
When our forwards pass from a perimeter position, they “chase” their pass for a ball screen.
Depending on how the defense plays the screen, the screener will roll or space to the short corner.
In this scenario, the passer screens, then spaces to the short corner and receives a pass from the ball handler.Want more from Coach Tony Miller?
