Byron Scott Dr. Dish Shooting Drill: Run & Shoot

Former 3x NBA Champion and NBA Coach of the Year Byron Scott goes through a great shooting drill on the Dr. Dish Home shooting machine called "Run & Shoot".
This progression is all about constant movement into the shot. After every shot, the player will either run to half court or full court (depending on their setup) and then receive a pass from the Dish.
Once the player receives the ball, each shot will come off of the dribble. Starting by attacking the right elbow, this is the progression to follow:
- One dribble pull up
- In & out dribble
- Crossover
The player will then repeat the same actions by attacking the left elbow.
Again, depending on the setup and if you're using Dr. Dish or not, Byron recommends running to half court on a make and full court on a miss. This will undoubtedly force players to lock in, get in great shape, and improve their jump shot.
A good goal to start with would be to make 5 shots on each progression before moving on for a total of 30 makes for the entire drill. See how little attempts you can complete this drill!
