Dr. Dish Basketball Teams Up with Unrivaled League for Its Inaugural Season

As the Unrivaled League kicked off its inaugural season, we were excited to partner with them to provide three custom Dr. Dish CT+ machines. This collaboration supports the league’s mission to elevate women’s basketball by equipping players with the tools they need to sharpen their skills for high-intensity 3-on-3 competition and off-season training ahead of the upcoming WNBA season. Unrivaled was founded by WNBA superstars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier to create a groundbreaking opportunity for 36 of the league’s top players to compete in an eight-week, stateside 3-on-3 season. The league is redefining the game with unprecedented salaries, exposure, and a dynamic playing style that sets it apart.

In just seven weeks, Unrivaled has made a massive impact, drawing over 10.5 million viewers, 157 million cross-platform views, and 12 million cross-platform engagements.

In case you missed it, here are a few highlights from the season so far:
- Impressive viewership: the 1-on-1 tournament peaked at 377,000 viewers.
- Napheesa Collier won the 1-on-1 tournament beating center Aaliyah Edwards for the grand prize of $200,000. She also secured $10,000 for each of her teammates: Allisha Gray, Skylar-Diggins-Smith, Shakira Austin, and Courtney Williams.
- Skylar Diggins-Smith scored 27 points to help secure the Lunar Owls No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
- Kayla McBride has consistently delivered high-scoring games including a 31-point performance against the Rose's.
- Dearica Hamby secured a double-double to help her team, the roses advance to the playoffs.
- Brittany Griner threw down the first dunk of Unrivaled.
- There are four teams left competiting in the semi-finals:
- No. 1 Lunar Owls (13-1)
- No. 2 Rose (8-6)
- No. 3 Laces (7-7)
- No. 4 Vinyl (5-9)
