Dr. Dish Fam member, Olivia Olson has continued to grow into an up and coming star in the basketball world. The University of Michigan commit and Benilde-St. Margaret’s stand-out reached a milestone few achieve - 2,000 points in her high school basketball career! Olivia was also recently named McDonald's All American for her outstanding achievements in girls' basketball. These feats are the results of years of training and countless hours in the gym. Olivia is the first player in the program's history to be named a McDonald's All American and score 2,000 points.
Her "keep working" motto helped her push through an injury early this season. Olivia broke 2 bones in her hand, but persevered and got back onto the court only 6 weeks after the injury. Her career has been nothing but special, coming off a state championship in basketball, as well as a state championship in soccer this past season. The 5-star recruit is building national buzz and will be taking her talents to Ann Arbor next season.
