Dr. Dish Welcomes Big East Coach of the Year Greg McDermott

Over the last few years, some of the biggest names in basketball have upgraded to Dr. Dish to enhance their skill development. 

Now, we're excited to welcome reigning Big East Coach of the Year Greg McDermott and his Creighton Bluejays. 

In his 26 years of head coaching experience, Coach McDermott is 531-311, amassing a winning percentage of .622. Other highlights of his extensive resume are below. 

• Assistant Coach at North Dakota (1989)
• Hired as Head Coach of  Wayne State College (1994)
• Career Record of 116-53 at Wayne State College
• Hired as Head Coach of North Dakota State (2000) 
• Hired as Head Coach of Northern Iowa (2001) 
• NCAA Tournament appearances in 2004, 2005, and 2006 
• Career record of 90-63 at Northern Iowa 
• Hired as Head Coach of  Iowa State (2006)
• Hired as Head Coach of Creighton (2010)
• NCAA Tournament appearances in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017
•  Son, Doug plays for Indiana Pacers (7th NBA Season)
