The off-season is the perfect time for basketball coaches, trainers, and players to focus on skill development and get ahead before the season begins. And whether you're training in the gym or at home, using a basketball shooting machine can take workouts to the next level.
We've teamed up with Coach Tony Miller to bring you 10 FREE individual and small group basketball shooting drills designed to improve basketball shooting skills, boost player confidence, and increase shot consistency.

Dribble Handoff Shooting Breakdown:
- Player 1 starts at the top of the key for a pass.
- On the pass, the player dribbles to the wing and hands off to player 2.
- Player 2 goes into a catch and shoot three-point attempt.
- Switch roles and repeat.
While this basketball shooting drill works with or without a Dr. Dish Basketball shooting machine, using one helps teams maximize their workouts with automatic passes, real-time and post-workout stats, heatmaps, and less time spent chasing rebounds.
