Compete Against Your Personal Best: Introducing Me vs. Me
by Emily Stiemsma, on Mar 13, 2024 10:51:08 AM
When you compete against yourself, you win by becoming better every day. Our Versus feature allows players to compete against their own personal bests. Players can challenge themselves shot for shot and keep track over time of their personal bests for different drills.
Me vs. Me brings game-like pressure to your home court. When you challenge yourself by going head to head with your personal best, it provides pressure to better replicate a game, it also provides variation and motivation for continued practice.
We all like to win, how many attempts will it take you to achieve a new personal best?
HOW IT WORKS
(shown within the Dr. Dish Player App alongside Dr. Dish Home for explanation in the lower video).
This feature is available on Dr. Dish CT+, FCLTY, and Dr. Dish Home users with an active Membership.
Challenges are accessed in the new “VS” area on the home screen of commercial machines (CT+, FCLTY, CT) and the Player App with an active Membership.
Give it a try!
- First, sign in to your profile on the machine or in the Player App
- Get started by creating a Challenge (name, define, and complete)
- Then, it's time to Compete against yourself
Reading your results:
- Green means you’re currently ahead of your personal best ✅
- Red means you’re behind, better make some shots 🔴
- You can pause and turn sounds on/off whether you want in-time feedback during your challenge. (This can also be changed in the sidebar)
- To set a new record you have to beat your personal best (sorry, ties don’t count)
You also have the ability to turn sounds on and off, depending if you would like to hear audio feedback after your shots.
The Player App is compatible with the Dr. Dish Home machine for programming but is FREE to browse and view your stats within for our other users. Download it here to explore.
This feature is otherwise available right on the CT, CT+. and FCLTY HUD touchscreen.
