At Dr. Dish Basketball, nothing gets us more excited than working with players from all around the world who are taking their training to the next level.
Most recently, NBA veteran and current Utah Jazz player Ersan Ilyasova joined our Dr. Dish Family with a CT machine.
Ersan has been playing professionally for 17 years as a power forward in the Turkish Basketball League, FC Barcelona, and the NBA. Check out some of his career highlights below!
career highlights
- NBA first round draft pick for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2005.
- MVP of the 2006 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship.
- Represented Turkey at the 2006 FIBA World Championship, EuroBasket 2007, EuroBasket 2009, 2010 FIBA World Championship, EuroBasket 2011, EuroBasket 2013, and EuroBasket 2015.
- Won a championship with FC Barcelona of the Liga ACB in 2009.
- In 2012, Ilyasova set career-highs with 29 points and 25 rebounds against the Nets and became the third Bucks player in franchise history to record at least 25 points and 25 rebounds in a game after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Swen Nater.
- In 2015, scored a career-high 34 points in a game win over the Pacers.
