Igniting the World Basketball program, is an affiliate of the Jr. NBA (Youth Basketball Participation Program). Their events are community driven geared towards youth with an emphasis on improving personal development by teaching leadership and team building skills, while encouraging youth to stay active through sports. This year, Coach Jordan is bringing the world Game Day: the first of it's kind skills combine and competition for youth basketball. Learn more and get details on how to register below!

There are two main components that make up the Game Day camp: the skills combine and the skills competition. We'll break down what's included with both!
Skills Combine
This is the starting block for your overall skill set - speed, agility, footwork, and conditioning are put to the test. Here are some of the combine elements you'll see:
- Speed dribble with a basketball
- Ball control cone drill
- Lane agility drill
- Reactive shuttle
- Vertical jump
- Broad jump
Skills Competition
This portion of the camp is for the shot makers and bucket getters. In a true winner-take-all competition. Here are some of the competition elements you'll see:
- Two ball elimination
- First player to score moves on to the next round (mid-range) until there is a champion
- Three ball elimination
- First player to score moves on to the next round (3-point line) until there is a champion
- Obstacle course
- 3-point contest
- Free throw contest
- Seven spot shooting contest

about Coach Carlos Jordan
Coach Carlos Jordan is Texas born and raised. He attended college at the University of Houston and was a part of the football program. He's spent the past five years working with the LA Clippers, Youth Development Coach/Ambassador. He's traveled throughout North America working youth basketball camps for the NBA and other affiliates such as Jr. NBA, NBPA, NBA Academy, The Legends, WNBA and more.
