What’s this mean?
Get Ready to Jam Out.
We are super excited to announce the most recent Dr. Dish Training Management system & App release: An integration with Spotify!
Think: "I can listen to the same music Coach Mason listens to while putting in work"
Half of the battle for coaches and parents is getting players to show up and train. We feel this integration with Spotify can help make training more engaging and fun for everyone.
What’s it look like?
If you are already accustomed to the Dr. Dish App (exclusive to customers), everything will look the same other than an added icon to some workouts.
What you will see when you log into the Dr. Dish App is the Spotify icon next to any workout that is accompanied by a playlist.
When you click into that workout, you will find a clickable link that says “PLAYLIST AVAILABLE”. If you already have the Spotify App and are a user, that link will take you right to the Dr. Dish library of playlists in Spotify for listening! If you aren’t, your phone will take you to the App store to download the free Spotify app and get started.
Once you find a playlist you like, crank it up and navigate back to the Dr. Dish App to start the workout!
How can you use it?
As an App user, you can navigate from workouts right to Spotify where you can pick a playlist to fuel your workout!
As a Training Management System user you can also add Spotify playlists to your workouts in Skill Builder! (Only available to smart machine owners who are set up as Team Owners or Coaches). When you navigate to Skill Builder and begin to create a workout there will be a new field for you to add your own personal playlist.
Adding music can help enhance the energy of a workout through headphones or a speaker. We believe this new feature will continue to feed into the excitement of getting into the gym and getting reps up on a Dr. Dish machine!
Stay tuned as we continue to update our playlists and gather the favorite hits of our Super Seven trainers too! Who else wants to know what Drew Hanlen’s go-to jams are for a workout?
