Creighton University Men's Head Basketball Coach, Greg McDermott shares a streak free throw shooting drill that's incorporated into their daily practice routine. Check out the full breakdown in the video below!
Free Throw shooting is a huge part of the game. For the 2022-23 season, the Bluejays shot 90% from the free throw line. They also broke or tied an NCAA record where they made 22/22 free throws in one of their tournament games. Coach McDermott credits this to the team's emphasis on free throw shooting in and outside of practice training with Dr. Dish.
In this drill, players must streak 15 free throws in a row in order to end the drill. Players should focus on shooting with their game-routine, balance, and follow-through!
