Team Basketball Drills: Continuous Shooting with Positionless Basketball

Our friend and partner Coach Jordan Petersen, Head Coach at Ellsworth High School (WI) and Founder of Positionless Basketball demonstrates a simple but great team drill called Continuous Shooting that he likes to use with his players on their Dr. Dish CT.
In this drill, we focus on attacking the lane, passing, and shooting in a spot up scenario. As always, focusing on the fundamentals is always paramount. You can use a variety of different moves to get in the lane (straight line drives, change of direction, pump fake, etc.).
Check out the full drill and breakdown below!
Always aim to make a crisp pass into the shooter's shot pocket. Shooters: make sure to catch ready to shoot and stay on balance on every rep.
This drill can be done with as little as 4 players or as many as 8+. We recommend a fast pass tempo (2-4) setting depending on total players and skill level to keep players constantly moving and to maximize reps.
Drill Goal: You can select a goal of either shots made, taken, or time on Dr. Dish. We recommend a goal of 5:00 on each side and challenging your team to consistently improve!
