Team Shooting Drills: Motion Pass & Cut
by Nick Bartlett, on Jul 15, 2019 7:51:50 AM
We are excited to release another team drill from the Dish Lab! This drill is focused around the pass and cut action out of a common motion offense.
Of course Dr. Dish is commonly used in an individual setting but it can also be used to efficiently simulate offensive actions as well (just increase the pass tempo as needed).
Check out the full breakdown of the Pass & Cut drill below.
The pass and cut is a common action out of the motion offense. Make sure to go game speed and work on proper fundamentals.
Recommended drill settings:
Pass tempo: 2-4
Pass distance: 4
Pass locations: Top of the Key and Wing (switch sides)
Goal: Can be made/taken/time. We suggest 25 makes going left and then going to the right.
