We are back with another Dr. Dish 20th anniversary throwback series. This edition we are featuring some of the best team drills from over the years. Working on a variety of skills and aspects of team basketball. Utilizing Dr. Dish Machines to enhance training as a team. Showing off creative ways use the machines and incorporating them into practice plans.
In this drill, now Head Coach of Mississippi State Sam Purcell does a tremendous job demonstrating a full court drill using a Dr. Dish CT. This drill focuses on transition running, passing, finishing, and a jump shot off the dribble.
Check out our first ever team drill, using the Original Dr. Dish Machine released in 2003. This drill is a fast paced backdoor layup, great for getting your team's energy flowing. Featuring the machine to make bounce pass after bounce pass for quick and easy training.
Coach Mike White, now at the University of Georgia brings you through a skip pass closeout drill. In this drill, Coach White combines a few different fundamentals including passing, shooting off the move, and shooting off the dribble. This is a great drill to utilize in a small group or team setting during workouts and practices.
Coach Liam Flynn visited the Dr. Dish Lab all the way from Australia. He goes through a great pick and roll scenario while using the first generation Dr. Dish CT. Teaching players how to read pick and roll defense. This drill helps every player involved to have to make a quick decision, as well as the drive and kick action.
Coming fresh off her 2nd straight GEICO National Championship, Head Coach Special Jennings demonstrates a workout to train in-game shooting from the wing and corner. The Nugget Team Drill simulates in game shooting from the wing and corner. A great drill for conditioning and working on shooting off the catch.
We thank you for sticking with us through 20 years of Dr. Dish!
