University of Florida Team Shooting Drill: Skip Pass Closeouts
by Nick Bartlett, on Sep 27, 2019 11:49:44 AM
We're very excited to release our 1st team drill with Coach Mike White of the University of Florida Gators!
We had a blast visiting the campus and appreciated Coach White taking the time to run through a few of his favorite ways to utilize their Dr. Dish CT shooting machine.
In this drill, Coach White combines a few different fundamentals including passing, shooting off the move, and shooting off the dribble.
First, the drill starts with a skip pass to a player cutting on the baseline. As the player shoots, the Dish makes a second pass to the wing. Here, the player simulates a closeout situation and attacks with one or two dribbles towards the baseline for a pull up jumper.
This is a great drill to utilize in a small group or team setting during workouts and practices. Give it a try!
Stay tuned for more great drills coming from Coach Mike White!
