When you’re drawing up plays with the Dr. Dish Basketball Shooting Machine in FastDraw, you might notice that one side of the net is a tad smaller than the other.
We designed this specifically to differentiate the front of the net from the back of the net.
Why is this important? With the Dr. Dish All Star Machine, you can actually swivel the net 180 degrees. This allows the machine to be much more versatile and allows you to throw post entry passes and other game-like passes from anywhere on the court.
Because the net is swiveled, the player can then throw an outlet pass back into the net where it is funneled back down into the machine again. Dr. Dish is the only machine in the world that is able to this.

Here’s an example of a basic down screen curl drill with the Dr. Dish under the hoop.
This is a simple drill that can get a player a ton of reps up on the move. However, how game-like is the pass from directly under the hoop?
Below is the exact same drill with the Dr. Dish on the wing.
Notice the net is swiveled so the short side is now facing the basket. This allows the player to gather the rebound and then outlet pass back to the Dr. Dish and get ready for the next repetition.
The pass is much more game-like coming from the wing and forces the player to prepare their shot and footwork exactly how they will receive it in a game.
