North Carolina
No Surprise here! Coach Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels roll into the NCAA Tournament as a #1 seed yet again.
This stacked UNC roster is poised to make a deep run in the 2024 NCAA with help from Consensus First Team All-American RJ Davis, the 19th player in UNC history to earn those honors as a True Freshman.
The rich history of North Carolina Basketball continues as the Tar Heels face off against the 16th seed Wagner Seahawks.

The defending champs earned the No. 3 seed in this year's tournament and will face No. 14 Rice Owls in the first round. For the third time in 3 seasons, the Tigers will be hosting first and second round games in the tournament. The past two seasons the Tigers have been the No. 3 seed and are the lowest seed that has ever won it all.
We're looking forward to following along as they make another run for a championship title!
Baylor
The Bears are back, and looking for their second National Championship in a span of just 3 years. Coach Scott Drew and the Bears finished the regular season with an outstanding 23-10 record, good enough for the #3 seed in this year's tournament.
They will face the 14th seed Colgate Raiders in the first round on 3/22.
Creighton
No team makes more noise in March than the Creighton Bluejays. And Coach Greg McDermott’s 2023-2024 squad has some players that can take the Jay’s on a deep tournament run this year.
After finishing the regular season with a tremendous 23-9 record, the Bluejays earned the #3 seed in this year's tournament.
They will face the #14 seed Akron Zips in the first round.
oLe Miss
Ole Miss had an awesome tournament run in 2023 and are looking to make a run for it again in this year's tournament! This year, they earned a #7 seed and will face Marquette on March 23rd at 3:45PM CDT.
Both teams came out of their conference tournament 23-8 and finished 3rd. Odds are siding with the Lady Rebels as they've played a more difficult schedule than the Golden Eagles.
Cameron Brink
Cameron Brink recently declared for the 2024 WNBA draft so this year's tournament marks her final run of senior year. Cam's career list of accolades is long and specifically this season, earning honors such as:
- Pac-12 Player of the Year - Coaches and Media
- Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year - Coaches and Media
- Pac-12 Player of the week (5x)
- Naismith Defensive Player of the year finalist
- Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Semifinalist
- Wade Watch List
- John R. Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 Watch List
- Pac-12 All-Defensive Team - Coaches and Media
- USBWA All-America First Team
- The Athletic All-America First Team
- ESPN All-America First Team
This season she's averaged 17.8 PPG with a high of 29 points. Her team will play Norfolk St. on Friday March 22nd at 9PM CDT.
Colorado
Coach Tad Boyle and the Colorado Buffaloes went 25-10 this year, and have already played an NCAA Tourney opener game against the Boise State Broncos.
After Beating Boise State 60-53, the Buffs are set up to face the #7 seeded Florida Gators in the first round, who are coming off a tremendous conference tournament performance.
Florida
The Florida Gators not only had a great regular season, but are humming at the right time going into the 2024 NCAA Tournament. As a steep underdog, they were able to make a run all the way to the SEC Tournament Championship.
Their 24-11 regular season record was good enough to make the Gators the #7 seed in this year’s tourney, where they will face off against #10 seed Colorado.
Kansas
Coach Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks have been a staple in Men’s college basketball for over 20 years, resulting in 3 Final Four Appearances and 2 NCAA Championships - the most recent in 2022.
The Jayhawks finished the regular season with a 22-10 record, good enough for the 4th seed in this year’s tournament.
Coach Self and his squad will take on the 13th seed Samford Bulldogs in the first round.
Louisville
Louisville was selected as this year's No. 6 seed to play No. 11 seed Middle Tennessee in the first round. This marks the team's 26th all-time appearance and the 15th appearance in the 16 tournaments under head coach Jeff Walz.
The Cardinals should be headed into the tournament with confidence coming off of a backloaded schedule with four straight top 25 matchups including Notre Dame and Syracuse using those games as the motivational fuel they need to make a run.
Tennessee
The Volunteers are back in the tourney, and this time, as a #2 seed after their impressive regular season led by consensus First Team All-American Guard Dalton Knecht.
The Vols finished the regular season with an impressive 24-8 record, which led them to capture the outright SEC Regular Season Title.
They will play last year’s tournament darlings, the #15 seed, St. Peter’s Peacocks.
Maryland
Maryland women's basketball earned a No. 10 seed in this year's tournament and will play the 7th seeded Iowa State in the first round. This marks their 14th straight tournament berth. Head Coach Frese has led the Terrapins to 11 sweet sixteens, 7 elite eights, and 3 finals fours with a 2006 championship.
We're looking forward to tuning in on Friday March 22nd at 6:30PM CDT.
Long Beach State
What. A. Story. The Long Beach 49ers may be the most fun team in this year’s tournament. With a 21-14 record in the regular season, LBS only had one way they would be able to make the tournament - by winning the Big West.
And guess what? They did just that! As the underdogs, where they beat UC Davis 74-70, clinching the 15th seed in this year’s tournament.
They face a tough test against #2 Arizona.
Charleston
The Cougars are no joke this year. After finishing the regular season with a 27-7 record, the Cougars cruised through the CAA Tournament, ultimately winning the championship game against Stony Brook 82-79.
Coach Pat Kelsey and his team earned the 13th seed, where they will now face 4-seeded Alabama in the first round.
Florida Atlantic
Coach Dusty May and his Florida Atlantic Owls are back for more in this year’s NCAA Tournament. After a disappointing showing in the AAC Tournament, FAU is ready to step up and prove everybody wrong, just like they did last year.
Even with that loss, the Owls still finished 25-8 which was good for the 8th seed in this year’s tourney. They will look to beat #9 northwestern in their first round matchup.
FAU was the tournament surprise last year, making it all the way to the final 4 before being eliminated in dramatic fashion against the SDSU Aztecs.
Yale University
The Bulldogs are fresh off an Ivy League Tournament Championship and ready to make some noise. The Bulldogs beat Brown in the Championship fresh off a 22-9 season under Coach James Jones.
The Bulldogs secured the 13th seed in the NCAA Tourney and will face the #4 Seeded Auburn Tigers, who are being picked as a team many like to go all the way.
BYU
The BYU Cougars have secured their 31st NCAA Tournament Appearance and are searching for their first Final Four Appearance in school history.
Under Coach Mark Pope, BYU went 23-10 in the regular season, which granted them the 6th seed in the NCAA tourney. They will face off against the 11 seed Duquesne Dukes.
Texas A&M
Coach Buzz Williams and the Aggies are rolling into the tournament after a 20-14 regular season campaign, which consisted of the Aggies going 9-9 in SEC play.
Good enough for the 9th seed, Texas A&M will square off against the breakout Nebraska Cornhuskers in the first round. Nebraska represents the Big Ten as the 8th seed.
Stetson
The Stetson Hatters are dancing in their first tournament appearance! And what a season it was for this year's 16th seed. They finish the regular season with a 22-12 record all while capping it off with their first ASUN Championship in school history.
All-ASUN First Teamer Jalen Blackmon set a record for most points in ASUN Championship game history with 43, and was named the MVP of the ASUN tournament.
Good luck to the Hatters as they face a tough test against #1 seed UCONN.
