Since launching our 10 Day Virtual Camp we've had an abundance of players, parents, and coaches sign up and express their gratitude for this unique camp. Recently, it was even featured on our local news!
It's unfortunate that everyone has been limited due to COVID-19 but it's something that is out of everyone's control. That's why we wanted to make a difference and provide players with a resource to continue getting better at home. This virtual camp consists of ball-handling, conditioning, agility, and shooting drills each and every day. We've also included motivational videos and quotes to help keep players focused and dedicated during this pandemic.
We quickly realized this virtual camp was going to be a big hit when WCCO/CBS News came and visited us at the Dish Lab for a quick news story on what we had cooking. Our story was covered by Norman Seawright lll, a sports reporter for WCCO News. Norman actually took the time to jump into a few of our drills that are featured within the 10 day virtual camp. One thing he mentioned was how fun but challenging the drills were. Norman also mentioned that the trainers featured really knew their stuff and made it clear what the player needed to do and work on.
Let's just say Norman got a good workout that day! Check out the full news story below.
NBA Trainer Featured
We're very fortunate to be partnered and working with some of the best basketball trainers in the world. Within this virtual clinic we focus on several skills that each of these trainers have mastered. Each day you'll get a dose of trainers like DJ Sackmann, Jordan Lawley, Pat The Roc, Ryan Razooky, Mike Dunn, and also Dr. Dish in-house trainers Emily Stiemsma and Brittnye McSparron. We realize every player is different and has different skill level and need so we specifically designed this camp to take into consideration what level players are at and how they can progressively learn and get better.
Shooting Machine Required?
Our 10 day virtual camp does NOT require the usage of a shooting machine but can be maximized with the use of our Dr. Dish models. Each of these drills and workouts sync with our machines and technology systems. Each drill has a specific goal that is attainable without the usage of a machine but players with a Dr. Dish will be able to achieve those goals and surpass them with the efficiency of their Dr. Dish.
We've also included many non-shooting drills that require no machine and can be done at home anywhere space is available. Again, each of these drills plus more are featured on our Dr. Dish player's app and Training Management System.
Make sure to sign up for the Virtual Camp and pass it along to players who love the game!
