New to the Dr. Dish Fam? Start Here!
Welcome to the #DrDishFam! You’re all set up in the Dr. Dish TMS System. You’ve got your account created, you are logged in, ready to put in work. Now what? With hundreds of workouts from a number of the best basketball trainers in the world, there are plenty of great options! To help you get started, we’ve compiled a list of places to begin.
Before we start working, a few quick notes on things inside the system...
KEY PHRASES
Drills vs Workouts: Inside of TMS, you will see a variety of drills and workouts. Drills are single segments that are combined to form complete workouts. For example, a drill may be elbow jumpers. The drill includes going elbow to elbow until you make 50 shots total. A workout may be a combination of elbow jumpers, and a ball handling drill. The Dish will automatically transition from drill to drill once you start a workout.
Programs: A simple place to start inside of TMS is with our pre built programs. These series vary from 1 week to 10 weeks. Explore shot clubs from 2,000 shots all the way to 10,000. The programs have a variety of workouts ensuring you hit your rep goal each day, totaling the number you need to complete your club goal.
Drill Details: Drills inside of TMS have information built within the overview. Each workout has a timeframe, number of players, and difficulty level. The levels range from 1 to 3, with 1 being a beginner level, and 3 being a high level player.

Now that you have a handle on how the system is set up, let’s get you started with your first workouts!
POPULAR WORKOUTS
For starters, our “most popular” workout section is here to help. This section is an assortment of our users completed workouts, all in one place.
A great first workout is Coach Mason’s 5 Star Shooting. This workout combines conditioning with reps and footwork. The 5 Star drill keeps you on the move the entire time, getting you a complete workout in short order.
QUICK WORKOUTS
Looking to train, but don’t have a ton of time? No problem. Our “quick workouts” section range from 5-15 minutes. These workouts are perfect for getting up reps before school, over a lunch hour, or post-practice.
COACHES
We’ve worked with some of the best coaches in the world to record their favorite workouts on the Dr. Dish. These workouts are team-based, designed to be done with 4-5 players. If you and your teammates are looking to work on your skills together, be sure to give these workouts a try.
TRAINERS
In addition to working with coaches, we’ve also partnered with the top trainers in the game. From NBA skills trainers, to professional shooting coaches, we’ve got you covered. Most of these workouts are focused on skill development, making you a more complete player.
CHALLENGES
We know our users love competition. Our NEW challenges section allows you to compete with other users within our system. Our global leaderboard shows how many times the workouts have been attempted, and all of your stats within the workout. See where you stack up against some of the sharpest shooters using our machines.
